Our friend Greg recently shared with me an interesting way to communicate our daily interaction with the Triune God. We all agree that the concept of the 'Trinity' is difficult to understand. How does it play out in our daily Christian lives? How do we interact with each member of the Trinity? I found the following to be very helpful. Basically we interact in three different ways - through prayer, worship and our daily walk - living the Christian life.
PRAYER -
We pray to the Father
through the Son,
by the power of the Holy Spirit
WORSHIP
We worship the Son,
by the power of the Spirit,
for the Glory of the Father
OUR LIFE
We live by the Spirit,
communicating the gift of the Son,
to reconcile people to the Father
Each person of the Godhead supports the other persons of the Godhead.
